A bright color that attracts attention is certainly a highlight of the image. But not everyone is ready to let him into the wardrobe, fearing difficulties with the selection of companions. The article reveals the secrets of combining colors.
Bright color always attracts and repels at the same time. Attracts with its expressiveness and purity. And it scares away the increased attention of others and a possible inadequate reaction to the image: "Dressed like a parrot" or "like a traffic light." And even self-confident girls who do not care about outside opinions often find it difficult to select companions for things of bright color. To understand this issue, let's look at the characteristics of color in the framework of the Theme of the October issue of "Thicken the paint."
Chanel colors: Mademoiselle Coco's favorite palette
All colors of the rainbow spectrum are called chromatic or spectral. White, black colors and their mixture - gray - are called achromats. These are the easiest colors to combine. Achromats are combined with each other and with any color.
Chromatic colors have several characteristics, of which we will need the concepts of color tone, lightness, saturation and temperature.
Color tone - a characteristic responsible for the position of the color in the spectrum. Remember the colors of the rainbow and the mnemonic rules for remembering colors: "Every hunter wants to know where the pheasant is sitting," or "How did Jacques the ringer once knock a flashlight off with his head"? This is the enumeration of color tones: red, orange, yellow, etc.
Lightness determines how much color differs from black (or white, respectively). With a decrease in lightness, all colors gradually approach black, with an increase in white. Thus, lightness is due to the amount of white or black pigments in color.
Saturation - the degree of difference between chromatic color and its achromatic lightness equal to it, the "depth" of color or its fading. With a decrease in saturation, each chromatic color approaches gray.
The “temperature” of a color is determined by the presence of blue (cold) or yellow (warm) pigments in it. Any color other than orange can be cold or warm. How so? Can yellow and blue also be warm and cold? Yes. The yellow lemon peel has a cold tint, while the sunflower petals are warm. Cyan is a warm shade of blue, cornflower blue - cold. And only the orange color has no cold tint.
Let's move on to the combination of colors. As already mentioned, achromats are perfectly combined with each other, so the image in white-gray-black tones will always look harmonious. If one color is added to achromats, harmony will not be broken and an accent will appear. When color and its shade are added to aromas, the color accent will become less pronounced.
How to stop worrying and start wearing vibrant colors
An image made up of different shades of the same color is called monochrome. Such sets always look elegant and expensive. However, so that the monochrome image does not look boring, use materials of different textures: leather, chiffon, large knitting, boucle, tweed, silk, etc.
Everyone has heard of the “three-color rule,” which states that more than three colors cannot be combined in one set. However, the images of fashion bloggers and Street Style photos from fashion weeks convince us otherwise. In one set, any number of colors is perfectly combined if they coincide in temperature (cold with cold, warm with warm) or in saturation (bright with bright, muted with muffled).
Now you should have no difficulty combining any thing from the Burda in October mini-collection. For an example I will give five actual combinations from this number.

Even a small detail in a sports style in the form of a drawstring can radically change the perception of even such a conservative thing as a jacket. They will support the dynamics of the image of Bermuda, and bustiers and high-heeled shoes will add femininity.
