The second stage of the Burda Fashion Start 2016 competition ended, during which 10 participants were selected who sent sketches of their future fall-winter 2016 collection during the first stage.
Burda gives young talented designers who have passed rigorous selection the opportunity to take part in an unprecedented competition that will help participants unleash their creative potential and present in the final a collection of authors consisting of three finished images. A creative marathon will allow competitors to challenge themselves and their abilities in order to go beyond the usual framework in an atmosphere of real creative competition and move to a new level of skill. Burda will provide participants with all the necessary support for the workflow, from supplies to expert consultations.
The competition will end on August 27 with the final show at the BurdaFest lifestyile festival in the Museon park in Moscow.
The winners will enjoy an extensive prize pool, which includes a trip to Offenburg at the Burda Fashion Factory, a place for making patterns and sewing patterns, a certificate for fabrics and accessories, access to a catalog of patterns throughout the year, gifts from partners and sponsors, as well as many other prizes.

After the selection of participants begins preparation for the third stage - "Creating a collection." A meeting and intimate acquaintance of the contestants will take place on July 22, and on July 25 they will go to Technological College No. 24, on the basis of which the capsule collection will be created. A mini-tour and briefing will be waiting for participants in the college, after which the stage of manufacturing images will officially start.
The whole process of creating the collection will be filmed in the format of creative "video diaries" so that not only the participants, but all Burda readers can directly touch the magic of the fashion industry and see with their own eyes how the catwalk collection is born.
