Unity and struggle of opposites: masculine style and femininity. Can these concepts connect in one image? And in one thing?
What is the secret to successfully implementing soft power? In a combination of laconic cut and "candy" pastel shades, a mix of deliberately feminine elements with brutal? Let’s take a closer look at the concise examples of five images compiled from the patterns of Themes of the September issue of Burda "Soft Power".
From time immemorial, women borrowed items of men's wardrobe: hats, trousers, cardigans, leggings and even heels! Often for reasons of convenience, sometimes out of a feeling of protest, and occasionally for shocking. No wonder the daughter of the Russian emperor Peter the Great, Elizabeth, the first beauty of her time, loved to arrange masquerades with dressing in clothes of the opposite sex. A man’s suit on a graceful female body looked very seductive.
The legendary Marlene Dietrich and the brilliant Catherine Hepburn knew about this. Yes, and modern fashionistas, in the pursuit of achieving the desired impression, often resort to borrowing from a men's wardrobe. For example, a “man’s shoulder” jacket, thrown over a combination dress, will look provocative, as if a lady spent the night outside the house and ran out on business in her lover's outerwear in the morning, throwing her on an evening dress inappropriate during daylight hours. A trouser formal suit will help a woman pass for “her boyfriend”, who has accepted all the rules of the game of big business, and demonstrate strength and power through masculine elements of the wardrobe.
In any case, the manifestation of the symbiosis of femininity and masculinity is attractive and excites the imagination. And nothing is so attractive as a harmonious combination of masculine and feminine, strength and softness, laconicism and romanticism. When the different facets of our being intertwine, a unity of opposites arises. Soft power ... Such that is manifested in all models of the mini-collection of the September issue of Burda with the same name.

A blue blouse with voluminous fantasy sleeves and a stand-up collar can become the basis of any stylish look and can easily provide a trendy “male” silhouette with the base-up triangle. However, a piquant neckline and flowing material hints at femininity. A companion to a blouse can be Bermuda, culottes, supporting the "masculine" beginning of a blouse, or a midi skirt with a smell, pleated, referring to femininity. I suggest a slightly risky mix with accent pants. The additions in the form of unusual mule heels, a laconic light bag and massive geometric earrings complete the look. In the cool season, boat shoes or ankle boots will serve as a replacement for mules, and you can put on a base coat or trench coat over the kit.

An extended sweatshirt or fitted dress? This model will easily perform in any form. The secret in a somewhat androgynous cut! Due to the delicate color and emphasis on the waist in the form of a belt, the dress looks girlishly cute. As a companion to him, I propose the same two-faced wardrobe element - a pink trench coat with avant-garde pockets. So that the monochrome image does not look boring, you can use various textures, different shades and a bright accent. Red boots fit perfectly into the overall color concept of the image, because pink is bleached red. And the finishing touch is the trend baguette bag.

The slightly baggy hips clearly have distant echoes of breeches. However, the soft folds at the waist make modern banana pants much more feminine than the original source. However, the bustier that I selected as companions is also much more seductive than the crop-top fellow. An elongated fitted blazer with curly flap pockets is the final thing in a feminine ensemble with a male prototype. Let's collect in one look several trends of the season at once and complement it with a trendy quilted puffed bag and two-tone mesh boats.

No matter how many stylists repeat, elongated jackets and blazers are in fashion, shortened options are with us again! Actual models have a touch of masculinity in the form of accent shoulders or a rather large volume. Such a blouse can easily be presented, combined with shorts or jeans. I suggest adding a drop of sexuality to the image and combining it with a provocative miniskirt and high heel ankle boots. Soft neutral colors and sporty character of the blouse will not let slip into vulgarity.

Dress plus pants? Why not! A similar mix of typical items of women's and men's wardrobes perfectly demonstrates the concept of "soft power". If such a combination seems too bold, choose a dress that resembles an elongated sweater and tight trousers, a la leggings, and you are unlikely to shock anyone with your ensemble. A coat without a collar and boots with thick soles will become not only convenient, but also a stylish complement to the kit.
