Embroidered stars souvenir bags

Ideal for New Year's souvenirs: canvas bags with a lace border around the edge and stars embroidered with a cross.

SIZE 21 x 12 cm
HOW TO MAKE: for each bag, cut the canvas to size. 23 x 25 cm. Mark the location of the embroidery and embroider the motif according to the pattern, choosing the appropriate thread colors.
Having finished embroidery, mark out the location of the braid for the drawstring. Stitch the braid on the wrong side, punch holes on the front for threading the cords. Fold the canvas in half with the inside facing inwards, make side seams, the width of the seam is 1 cm. At the upper edge, wrap the cut on the wrong side to a width of 0.5 cm, iron, trim the cut. From the wrong side, chop a lace braid 1 cm wide so that the top part with scallops protrudes 0.5 cm, stitch. Cut the cord in half, thread into the wings and tie the knots.
