The heroine of our shooting, Marina Matveeva, has long been pursuing her dream: she participated in the competitions of B Burda magazine 11 times - and finally a welcome victory! Marina brought a rare BURDA number for 1987 to a meeting at the editorial office - it was with him that her passion for sewing began. How many different things were sewn up during this time, you can’t even count: from your own school graduation gown to mother, son, daughter and husband clothes. Marina jokes: "I can’t demolish all the outfits from the Burda! Therefore, I meet the New Year up to 12 o’clock in one dress, and I run to change clothes with a chiming clock."
Marina teaches Russian language and literature in college - there is always enough work, and she sits down at the sewing machine in the late evenings, on weekends and holidays, following the motto: "Every day on a line!" It is impossible to cope with such a load without family support, but Marina’s husband is the first assistant in all matters, and now her daughter is learning to cut and sew. Many people think that in a small town there is no way to dress fashionably or make a beautiful photo shoot, but our winner proves the opposite with her own example. "I usually close my eyes and see the whole image. And some models do not let go even in a dream ..."

Meeting with BurdaStyle.ru

The site of Marina is relatively recent, since January 13, 2014. She always watched the forum users from afar, but then still decided to put photos of her works. Her appearance on BurdaStyle.ru was very spectacular. And remains so to this day. Each of her works is a unique image that is thoroughly penetrated by impeccable taste and sense of style. Despite all her busyness, Marina is trying to follow the news on the site, gets a lot of interesting and useful information on sewing, learns about fashion trends. And most importantly, he follows the announcements of his beloved magazine.
