The former food chain has acquired the status of a must-have thing today. Green, pink or blue - choose any color of the cord to weave the bag.
You will need:
- bag handles (Keiko from Prym),
- Ebony hammer for creativity (Prym),
- scissors,
- tape measure,
- lighter,
- cord approx. 50 m - for a bag of approx. 35 cm
DIY Tote Bag
Step 1
Cut 32 lengths of 1.55 m from the cord. Fold 2 cords in half and fasten with a loop on the handle. Each handle should have 8 loops.
Step 2
Fold both external cords together. Put the right cord from right to left over the center cords and under the left cord. Now put the left cord from left to right under both center cords and over the right cord.
Step 3
Now put the right cord from left to right under both center cords and over the loop of the left cord. Put the left cord from right to left over the center cords and under the loop of the right cord. Tighten the assembly carefully.
Step 4
Vertical distance between nodes approx. 10 cm. Perform the remaining nodes of the 1st row, as described in steps 2 and 3. In the 1st row on each side of the bag should be 7 nodes.

Step 5
Depending on the density of the cord, the nodes can be stabilized by tapping on them with an ebony hammer.
Step 6
Run the 2nd row of knots as described in steps 2 and 3. Both of the outer cords of the 1st row will then be woven with both the outer cords of the 2nd row.
Step 7
On each handle, perform 5 rows with knots. Then the ends of all the cords to burn the lighter.
Step 8
Weave both parts of the bag together on the sides with the same knots.

Step 9
Now weave the bottom of the bag. If necessary, align the ends of the cords in length and set the lighter again.
