DIY patchwork clock

Step 1

Paint the blank for wall clocks with paint for vintage decor. To do this, first apply a gray-brown paint, allow to dry, apply a layer of wax, leave it to dry again and apply a cappuccino paint, which should not completely cover the surface of the workpiece. After all layers have dried, gently sand some sections of the workpiece with sandpaper.

Step 2

For a lifebuoy, draw a circle on a white photocardboard using a compass (outer contour diameter is 8 cm, inner contour diameter 5 cm), draw red fields with a lacquer marker, and shade the edges with a blue pencil, rubbing the pencil marks with the tip of your finger.

Step 3

Details of Neptune are first drawn on a piece of paper, and then transferred to a photocardboard of the corresponding colors and cut. Draw a blush, a mouth and shade the details with pencils of suitable colors.

Step 4

With lacquer markers, draw eyes, glare on the eyes, nose and jewelry on the crown. Glue all the parts together in accordance with the photo and after drying make cutouts.

Step 5

Glue Neptune with a lifebuoy to the watch blank. Glue pieces of driftwood, seafood and colored glass pebbles instead of numbers. On the workpiece, install a clockwork with arrows.
