Uniform stitches are manually laid on this bedding along the contours of the printed fabric pattern. They give the image volume.

Dimensions: cushion approx. 60 x 45 cm, blanket approx. 140 x 175 cm.
You will need: gray - white striped cotton fabric with a print of 3.50 m wide 140 cm; ironed volumenfliz H 640 3.50 m wide 90 cm (Freudenberg); 1.75 m black cotton fabric 140 cm wide for the underside of the blanket; thin black cotton quilt threads, such as Catania Fine (Schachenmayr); 1 zipper 30 cm long; threads for sewing appropriate colors; 1 pillow filler measuring 45 x 60 cm.
Carve out on a shared thread of striped fabric:
- for the pillow: 2 parts measuring 62 x 47 cm;
- for a blanket: 1 part measuring 140 x 175 cm, 2 parts measuring 6.5 x 175 cm and 2 parts measuring 6.5 x 142 cm.
Quilting: on the front side of the pillow, around the print motifs, lay with black threads the manual stitches of the seam “forward needle” of approx. 5 mm. On the upper side of the blanket from the wrong side, impose a volumeflyz, iron it. Quilting the upper side of the blanket with volumenfliz along stripes of fabric or around motifs.
Sewing:
Fold the front and back sides of the pillow with their front sides, grind longitudinal sections with allowances of 1 cm wide on one side, leaving a 30 cm length open for seam fastening in the seam.Stitch the zipper so that the teeth of the zipper are not visible. Clasp - open the zipper. Stitch the remaining sections with allowances 1 cm wide. Cut the seam allowances at the corners close to the stitches, iron the seam allowances. To turn out a pillow, to put a filler.
Fold the underside of the black cotton blanket and the quilted upper side of the blanket with the wrong sides and fix in several places: along the fabric strips 20 cm from the sections, lay small handmade stitches with black cotton threads, holding all 3 layers of the blanket together. At the same time, stitches should be barely noticeable on the upper side of the blanket. On the underside of the blanket, tie a thread. If your fabric is not striped, quilt all 3 layers of the blanket along 4 sections at a distance of 20 cm.
Then turn the edges of the blanket. First process both longitudinal sections. To do this, pin each edging inline, respectively, to the longitudinal section of the blanket with the front side to the front side and stitch it at a distance of 1 cm. Tighten the other longitudinal section of the inline so that the stitching seam is closed. Pin the tie. From the front, lay the stitch exactly in the seam of the edgebanding of the edging, fixing the bottom half of the inlay. Turn the shorter sections of the blanket the same way, but unscrew the ends of the edging springs on the bottom side of the blanket 1 cm wide. Fasten the ends of the spool by stitching in the seam for attaching the spool. Iron the finished blanket.
