Elegant do-it-yourself handbag decor

These patterns are not sewn! They are made of a small wooden box, and then decorated in a variety of ways ...

Just a miracle
A handbag made of a small wooden box is decorated with pearls, fabric, buttons or paper lace.

You will need:
Wooden box, loops for hanging pictures, gilded chain (approx. 1.20 m), glue for mosaics, mother-of-pearl mosaic pebbles (two sizes), sponge, grout, white acrylic varnish, coating varnish, brush, pliers, hammer.


Step 1
Paint the inner and outer surfaces of the drawer with white acrylic varnish. Leave to dry the varnish. Then hammer with a hammer to each side of the drawer in a loop to hang pictures.

Step 2
Glue mosaic pebbles to the outside of the drawer. Then fill the gaps with grout according to the manufacturer's instructions (see instructions on grout packaging). Leave the grout to dry.

Step 3
Now apply two to three coats of the varnish on the entire surface of the bag. Leave it to dry completely. At the end, use a pair of pliers to attach the gold-plated chain to the loops


Graceful folds
This box is ennobled with a delicate, thin cloth. First, glue non-woven to its surface with a few drops of glue. Then lay the fabric on top and fix it on the inside of the box with a few drops of hot glue. Tip: for
so that the fabric is not stretched on the surface so tightly that it would make it difficult to close and open the bag, lay the folds a la pleated on the fabric.


Hello from vacation
Coat the inside and outside of this drawer with varnish just like a drawer with a mosaic. Leave to dry the varnish. Now proceed to the design. Do not stick the postcard, but draw on the box and completely fill it. But stick the real brand. After that, cover the surface of the bag with a varnish that will keep your mail card intact for a long time.

Solid buttons
The pre-treatment of this drawer is exactly the same as that of the mosaic drawer. Coat the surface with varnish and let the varnish dry. Then wrap the box with a damp gypsum bandage to give a wavy surface. Do not save the gypsum mass; distribute it on the surface in several layers. After that, press the buttons into the still wet gypsum mass. Leave the gypsum mass to dry, then coat with varnish.

Lace symphony
Cover the wooden box with white varnish and leave until the varnish dries. Apply glue for decoupage on the outside of the drawer and apply paper lace. To create a flat surface, apply another layer of glue on top. Leave the box until the glue dries. Coat the surface with varnish. Make a handle-strap from a string of artificial pearls. Such a handle is more suitable for this snow-white handbag.
