How to make bolle bright out of ordinary black sweaters for the holidays

You will need: felt beige and red.
Here is what I did:
I put the sweater on the beige felt, circled the neck area around the shoulders, cut out a little more somewhere by 1.5 cm, put it on the sweater to make sure it fits the size, and then adjusted the width of the beige insert
Then I made the same mockup out of paper using the cut out felt - I needed to see about what size the red squares should be cut in relation to the beige base. The resulting squares of 3 sizes. When everything was ready, I sewed first a beige base on a sweater, and then red elements. One important technical point - since this is felt and it does not stretch, and the sweater in my case is made according to the principle of turtleneck and stretches, especially in the neck area, is tied with an elastic band, it is necessary that the zipper is sewn to the back to the level of the shoulder blades, i.e. when you put on a sweater, it easily passes through the head, unzips the back, otherwise the felt would prevent this and the neck / gate area would not pass through the head. The application is made only in front, if desired, you can do exactly the same in the back.
